About Kambo and treatment

“Poison is in everything, and no thing is without poison. The dosage makes it either a poison or a remedy.” Paracelsus

Kambo has many other names such as  Sapo or Acate. It is a traditional natural remedy that is used by various indigenous tribes of the Amazon. It consists of the potent skin secretions of the South American nocturnal treefrog (lat. Phyllomedusa bicolor).

This tree frog is bright green and is found in the Amazon rainforest in South American in countries such as Brazil, Peru, Columbia. The green trre frog has a song and this is heard in the evening. When the Shaman sings the frog song back, the frog climbs down onto the offered branch.

Kambo is supposedly named by the legendary Shaman called Kampu and he is said to have learned about the medicine from a forest spirit, having exhausted all other means to heal his sickly tribe

Kambo has long been used by indigenous Amazonian tribes and it may also have been used by the Mayans, whose art depicted tree frogs next to mushrooms.

The Kambo-frog treatment has been used for a very long time in the Amazon area. And due to its potent effect on the whole human organism local tribesmen traditionally use it for many things such as:

Increasing luck and enhancing their senses for the tribesmen whilst hunting

Healing and cleansing of the body

Increasing physical strength and stamina

Spiritual and mental clarity

Adding zest to their life

It is considered a natural forest vaccine because it boosts immunity and helps to fight infections

The most noticeable aspect of the Kambo is its powerful anti-inflammatory action on the body due to the presence of 10 bioactive anti-inflammatory proteins called peptides. All disease is inflammation

Research and links on Kambo

The Kambo frog secretion based on human use was first researched and described by western scientists John Daly, Vittorio Erspamer, and their team, published in 1992.

Vittori Erspamer already published an article based on his studies of peptides in Phyllomedusa skin “a huge factory and store-house of active peptides” in 1985.

These bioactive peptides are also the reason why the pharma-industry is so interested in it, developing a new medication from one of the peptides could be worth hundreds of millions of dollars and there are already several patents existing on some of the peptides.

Here are some of the peptides found in the secretion:

adenoregulins, bradykinins, tachykinins, caerulein, sauvagine, tryptophyllins, deltorphins, dermaseptins, dermorphins, phyllocaeruleın, and bombesins.

Several years of research carried out at the University of Paris have shown that certain peptides are effective in killing certain types of cancer cells. Research at Queens University in Belfast recently won a prestigious award for his ground-breaking work with cancer and Kambo. Its action mechanism is produced by inhibiting tumor cells

Kambo The Kiss of the frog,  poem
by Susan

the frog knows no bounds within
padded feet jump forth into the twiLIGHT
earthed with strong body sensation
fragrant sounds and scented knowingness
heart infinity is boundless
amphibian nonsensical intelligence
awaits each gasping cell
whilst lymph is beholden
in a white mystical
unfolding vibrational love note
guiDANCE is brought to each
n every part of our being
red molton lava fire rises upwards
spiraling a vortex moment
hush a single intense moment
tis natures spirit
we can bow to
in an arrow shot
totally into the heart
exploding love potIONS
of divine self LOVE
a lush red carpet
spread with insightful blood torus
for divine unity
